Prior to joining Dominion Payroll, Josh was the EVP of Employer HR Group, a comprehensive HR service provider in Columbia, SC, for 11+ years. In this role, Josh served as a strategic HR business partner, helping owners and executives achieve and maintain operational efficiency while mitigating HR risks.
Josh is a SHRM (Society of Human Resources Management) Certified HR Professional and trusted advisor with extensive knowledge of state and federal employment compliance, labor relations, policy implementation, OSHA training, and HR software solutions. Josh has participated in speaking and training opportunities with many industry associations, committees and management groups throughout the southeast. Josh is located in the Dominion Payroll Carolinas office in Columbia, SC, where he resides with his wife, two daughters and his Boxer, Gracie!

Sheri Lambert
President & CEO | Make-A-Wish® Greater Virginia
Sheri graduated from Randolph College, formerly Randolph-Macon Woman’s College with a B.A. in Art History. She has worked in the non-profit sector for twenty-seven years and has been in her role at Make-A-Wish for ten years. Prior to joining Make-A-Wish, Sheri was with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed the relationships with volunteers, supporters and especially those families impacted through mission.
Sheri is a native of Richmond. She is married, with two teenage daughters, a stepson, and two yellow Labrador Retrievers. She enjoys time on Virginia’s Northern Neck, hiking, walking, and spending time with her family. Sheri volunteers with her church and serves on the Randolph College Board of Trustees.

Director of DP Boost HR | Dominion Payroll
Ashley Smartt is Dominion Payroll’s Director of DP Boost HR across all eight DP locations. She leads the HR advising team to support Dominion Payroll clients with both macro- and micro-level HR guidance and compliance. Ashley has worked in HR for the last 12 years, 8 of which with Dominion Payroll, holding such positions as Benefit Specialist, HR Administrator, and HR Consultant. She is passionate about building an organizational culture that boosts morale and encourages employee engagement. She lives in West Virginia with her husband, 3-year-old daughter, 2 boxers, and a little girl on the way!

HR Advisor | Dominion Payroll
Jennica serves as an HR advisor, on DP’s Boost HR team, partnering with clients’ leadership teams to provide the tools, expertise, and guidance to ensure compliance with employment laws and help develop clear HR practices and policies.
Jennica is a SHRM Certified Professional and, before joining DP, worked for 7 years increasing workplace opportunities for adults with disabilities through direct support and research. Jennica is dedicated to developing and facilitating best practices to achieve both individual and organizational goals and places great value on connecting with the community whether through coaching athletics, working part-time at a local craft beverage company, or volunteering.
